GATLINBURG TENNESSEE

For the past year travel throughout the world has changed tremendously due to the outbreak and rapid spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. Cruise ships have been suspended indefinitely, airlines are forced to accept less passengers because they have to leave middle seats open, and some people are just afraid to travel due to the circumstances. Countries across the globe are starting to require negative Covid-19 test and soon vaccines to enter and exit.

Travelers are finding themselves traveling to destinations closer to home. When you think about it this is starting to become the norm. My recommendation before you travel anywhere is to read the CDC (Center for Disease Control and Prevention) travel guidelines. Make sure everyone your traveling with are being responsible and getting Covid-19 test so that your not putting your family and friends in danger of contracting Covid. One designated person out of the group can be held responsible for collecting these results.

This past weekend I had the pleasure of going on a road trip to the Smoky Mountains of Gatlinburg Tn. to celebrate a friends birthday. We rented a 12 bedroom cabin complete with a game room, theatre room, indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi Etc. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. We enjoyed drinking, games, and Taco night the day of our arrival. The following morning we ate breakfast then headed to the infamous Ober Gatlinburg Amusement and Ski Park. They offered Skiing, snow tubing, snow boarding, ice skating, sky lift riding and many other activities . There was even a Wildlife Encounter of some of the animals found in the Great Smoky Mountains. This amusement park had something to do for the entire family, along with several restaurants and lounges for your eating and drinking enjoyment. The next morning we got up early and headed back home before we got trapped in the snow that was now coming down very heavy. This was a short but very much needed getaway. Not sure what part of the world your in, but I recommend looking up some fun things that your and your family or friends can do that may only be a few hours drive from home to curb your Cabin Fever!!
