Los Cabo San Lucas Mexico
Los Cabo’s Mexico is one of the few countries you can visit nowadays that doesn’t require you to be vaccinated. You are required to take a Covid-9 test to get back Into the United States. In order to protect yourself before travel always take a COVID test to assure your negative before you leave for your trip. This was my second trip to Mexico this year, its a mandatory practice for them to test you within 72 hours of your return trip.
My visit to Cabo was nothing short of a well needed vacation. I met my best friend and cousin there, we stayed at the Hyatt Zika all Inclusive Resort and Spa. My friends and I have always traveled but we never really knew anything about the all inclusive resorts until a few years ago. Now we won’t travel any other way. All inclusive hotels are the absolute best. They include several restaurants, coffee shops, some have nightclubs, live entertainment, babysitting services (not all of them), spa services and more. Spa services are extra so don’t get to excited!!! We Choose a room that had a swim up pool. Yes that means we had our own private pool right outside our patio door which means late night fun when the regular Pool has closed. Oh and lets not forget about the adult pool. All of this sitting right off the beautiful beach with a ocean view. FUN FUN FUN!!!
My favorite places to eat on the resort was the Italian, Hibachi, Buffet Restaurants and the Coco Loco Snack Shop in the pool area sold amazing cooked to order tacos. I didn’t care much for the DoZo Hibachi restaurant, but the ambiance and drinks were really good. I give the Zaffiro Italian Restaurant 5 stars for their service and food. We enjoyed The La Plaza international buffet daily for breakfast, there was a fresh fruit station, omelet station, pancake and waffle station, fresh salad bar, fresh breads, juice bar, dessert bar. And all you can eat Mimosas. The Piano Bar had a DJ nightly for live entertainment. There also was an Mexican festival with lots of good food, live music, and entertainment.
After relaxing and enjoying the resort our first 3 days there we decided to have some fun on Day 4 and booked Camel and ATV rides at Cactus Tours. Included in the price of the Camel & ATV rides was transportation from our hotel and back. Of course when we arrived the quotes we were given changed due to the different types of ATVs that they offered and photos. We wasn’t allowed to take our cell phones and was given lockers to store them safely. They took really great photos even from a drone view that were irresistible and we spent another $200 on pictures. Make sure you’ve got plenty of extra cash on you. Despite the extras we had a great time. We ended the day off at Nobu Restaurant, this place never disappoints. If I had to rate them I’d give them 10 stars out of 5. Seriously their food was the best food I’ve had in a long time. If your ever in a city and there’s a Nobu go and check it out. We tried the spicy edamame, Shishito Peppers, Brussels, Cauliflower, Shrimp Crispy Rice and avocado, and Baked Lobster Rolls. Look up a location near you, they are actually located throughout the world!! Until my next Destination ADIOS AMIGOS!!
